Advocate public policies that support economic sustainability of grazing and other compatible managed open-space uses to protect our valued ecosystems;
Educate the general public – children; young adults and consumers - policy makers and stakeholders on issues critical for the survival of the industry;
Educate the local populace as to food security & food safety
Develop educational initiatives for Hawaii’s keikis and young adults so integral to providing for their sustainable future

Providing for the usage of actual people in any photograph relating to agriculture - images of your neighbors;
Shifting our communications to external audiences away from corporate/technical terms such as best management practices or environmental stewardship to more personal terms such as local, ohana, and your neighbor farmers & ranchers;
Engaging public awareness through support of agritourism efforts as consumers appreciate seeing where their food comes from
